Montreat College Men's Basketball team beat Virginia Intermont 89 to 70
in the second round of the Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament.
The Cavs will advance to the semi-finals Friday, 2/24 against Covenant
College.  Montreat has defeated Covenant in each of their previous two
games this season, but Covenant has a scrappy team and should provide a
great game.

 

I hope many of you will be able to make the drive to King College in
Bristol, TN, at 6 pm Friday night.  Mapquest says it's 2 hrs from
Montreat.  We need a great cheering section, so please come out!

Montreat College's Cavaliers were ranked 22nd in the nation in the final
poll of the season, and will travel to Branson, MO for the National NAIA
Div. II tournament beginning on March 8.
